On 21 March 2026, over 50 people gathered at Woodman point beach to build flower sandcastles inspired by the work of LA-based artist Joshua David Bishop.

These images, each soaked in radiant joy, capture the life, hope, colour, chaos, and brilliance of this simple morning. In a war-sticken world, play is not a distraction; it is what keeps us free, gives us life, and brings us together stronger.
